该车是太空（Tyco）早期作品之一，最早于1993年在泰国生产。合金底盘有避震，左右车门可开启。同年9月，该车的“世界级”（World Class）精品车，编号WC-36在美国上市。1994年10月该车开始在上海环球生产。1997年以前，该车有前后车牌“BMW 850i”字样，之后逐步取消。1997年11月，泰国版在沉寂了多年之后以一个精细之极的红色Premiere Collection（PC）精品版在美国发售。第二年4月，类似的精品车在上海环球生产。2002年该车暂时退出市场。2005年在美泰公司重新上市的新版超高速(NSF)系列中，该车再次以精品车的身份在南海官窑生产，并远销美国和欧洲市场，2006年该车的蓝色NSF版本在泰国制造，之后未见有新版发行。（数据库基本资料图片提供者：app，特此表示感谢！）
